1919年の「植物學雜誌」33(388) 掲載写真「Fig. 2.」の原板である。写真の下のキャプションは以下の通り。「The block as seen on April 3. 1918; view toward the west. On the foreground and the lowest terrace, luxuriant growth of Parphyra leucosticta var. suborbiculata is seen. On the second lowest terrace the plant is rather sparing. The dark shade of the slopes is Ulotrix subflaccida. The knobs are naked on the side which fronts to the surf.」
